Just four kilometers outside the town of Pienza, a road winds its way around the area's characteristic "crete senesi" or clay mounds and leads up to the panoramic spot where the Agriturismo Cretaiole is perched. From the north: Highway A1 Florence-Rome, exit Valdichiana. Drive through Bettolle, Torrita di Siena, Pienza. From Pienza take direction San Quirico d'Orcia and drive 4 km along that road: you'll find Cretaiole on your left side.
From the south: Highway A1 Rome-Florence, exit Chiusi-Chianciano Terme. Drive through Chianciano, Montepulciano, Pienza. From Pienza take direction San Quirico d'Orcia and drive for 4 km along that road: you'll find Cretaiole on your left side.
