An ancient farmhouse that was built in the 14th century on land once inhabited by the Etruscans. The farmhouse has been entirely renovated, though its original features and period furnishings have been maintained.
Just four kilometers outside the town of Pienza, a road winds its way around the area's characteristic "crete senesi" or clay mounds and leads up to the panoramic spot where the Agriturismo Cretaiole is perched. This fully renovated, 14th century farmhouse of Etruscan origin is located in the heart of our property and in the center of the Artistic and Natural Park of the Val d'Orcia.

From the north: Highway A1 Florence-Rome, exit Valdichiana. Drive through Bettolle, Torrita di Siena, Pienza. From Pienza take direction San Quirico d'Orcia and drive 4 km along that road: you'll find Cretaiole on your left side.
From the south: Highway A1 Rome-Florence, exit Chiusi-Chianciano Terme. Drive through Chianciano, Montepulciano, Pienza. From Pienza take direction San Quirico d'Orcia and drive for 4 km along that road: you'll find Cretaiole on your left side.
